Acapulco Training Camp December 27, 2011 – January 8, 2012
Sandy and Jerry…thank you very much again for the opportunity to stay at Casa Iguana. The staff accommodated our every need. They went above and beyond to help us and make our stay amazing! The food was delicious and plentiful. We can’t thank Julian, Margarita, Mara and the other staff enough for all that they did to make our stay the best it could possibly be.
Carlos had originally planned for us to use the 20 passenger van but it was having mechanical problems on the way to Casa Iguana on our arrival day. Carlos made other arrangements and provided us with a variety of other vehicles to meet our transportation needs. All the drivers were great and we appreciate all that he did in being flexible with our schedule.
Sandy…thanks very much again for booking the pool for us. We met Professor Orlando and also spent some time with Javier. He was most helpful. Again, everything went well with the training at the pool. The swimmers enjoyed training outdoors.
With our free time, we went to the Market a couple of times, we went to see the Cliff Divers and we also went to the beach at the Princess Hotel twice. There wasn’t a lot of free time as the swimmers trained in the morning and afternoon most days. The swimmers did enjoy spending time around the pool at the Villa as well.
We thank you for all of your assistance in helping us put together the training camp for the Newmarket Stingrays. Wishing you all the best in 2012.

I just wanted to write to let you know how WONDERFUL everything at Casa
Iguana and Casa Delfin was for our stay and wedding festivities! Both houses
looked absolutely gorgeous and our guests were in awe of the accommodations and
the amazing views that both houses offer. Margarita, Julian, their daughters,
Fausto, and all the rest of the staff could not have done a better job--great
food, wonderful service, and they always went above and beyond to be helpful in
every way. Casa Delfin was the perfect setting for the cocktail party for our
wedding guests on Thursday. The palapa at Casa Iguana offered the perfect
location for our wedding ceremony and the dance, and the dining room was a
beautiful setting for cocktails and dinner. I will be sending you photographs
soon so that you and any potential guests can see how perfect the setting is for
a wedding or other party!! Needless to say, my family has decided to come back
to Casa Iguana every year and our friends were all interested in getting rental
information. I would love to be a referral for you any time!
Also, THANK YOU SO MUCH for connecting us with Carlos Macias and his crew of
drivers. They were on-call for our guests the entire week and were always
on-time, courteous, and extremely helpful with recommending good restaurants,
shopping, and activities. They also were responsible for transporting our 100
guests to and from Casa Delfin for the cocktail party, and to and from Casa
Iguana for the wedding ceremony and reception, which was no small task. We could
not have made the arrangements work without them. Not only did they make it work
and get so many people where they needed to be at the right time, but they added
so many special touches that were truly appreciated. They arranged for a police
escort for the bridal party and guests on the way to the wedding (which was
wonderful given the traffic), provided an air conditioned van with water, wine
and beer to transport our guests to the wedding, and even had a limo pick Matt
and I up for our honeymoon. I would suggest putting them at the top of your list
when recommending drivers in Mexico and I would provide a referral to any guests
who are inquiring about transportation!
Also, Matt and I went to Zibu for Valentine's Day dinner and the food was
amazing--Lalo says "hello!"
Matt and I truly cannot thank you and your amazing staff enough for the
unforgettable wedding and times that we had at Casa Iguana and Casa Delfin.

Hello Sandy and Jerry:
Well - you certainly have an amazing house there at Casa Iguana...and you were right - it was a fantastic time and better than we could have imagined.
The staff was also first class and I can't say enough for how your staff treated us - simply first rate. I wanted to make sure you processed all of our payments and everything is to your satisfaction. I also wanted to note that we did break one bowl (fell form a table) and a glass (was dropped and chipped).
We worked very hard to show full respect to the other items you requested - no towels left this house - nor did anyone throw anything from the balcony.
BTW - your place is beautiful - I really can't say enough. The acid stain floors are gorgeous - and the railings and attention to detail is meticulous. Again - congratulations. It will be an honor to stay at Casa Iguana again. We are looking at the possibility of returning in 2006-07 again for the same amount of time. Hopefully the stairs will be complete to the bottom with Sand on that beach - which will make your house absolutely complete and perfect. OK -
I wanted to write with my sincere thanks - my sincere best wishes....a particular thanks to Sandy for the visit to IMSS which took much of her valuable time - but helped us out so very much. Please also let me know about the dishes - or any other issues that the staff may have passed along to you (which I hope was nothing but good news from our group). I hope all is well - and, while we did not meet you this time - and I am sure we will meet at some point in the future.

Sorry I didn't get back to you earlier. Everything was great. The staff was outstanding. They did everything possible to make us feel at home. Keep them around! We had a great time. Everyone had a good time at the lake and at Tres Maria for BBQ snapper. Even the transportation you recommended was great.
Communicating was a little difficult. It would have been nice to have the survey to fill out before our arrival. Found out too late about drinking water.
I hope to get everyone to go again next year. We did take the time to go by Casa Delfin on our way out of town. Looks great!
I'm sure you'll hear from us again.
